Step 8: The fabric grid

 

PatternMaker can calculate the required amount of fabric.
Turn on the Fabric Grid and fill in the width of the fabric.

The red dashed lines show the fabric.

Move the pattern pieces around the fabric as you would like to cut it.

In the Fabric field in the Status Bar the amount of fabric that is needed is shown.
